CrossFit can appear intimidating but it is far from it! Instead it is a great, friendly community environment where everyone comes together to help and inspire to achieve their gosals. When it come to introducing people to CrossFit, we have more experience than anyone in the area.
New to CrossFit?
The best way to get started at CrossFit Beaufort is to sign up for a “Free” 1-on-1 intro session. If you like, bring a friend and double the fun. Not ready to try us out? You’re welcome to drop by and watch one of our classes – we’d love to meet you!
Once you make the decision to join, the next step is our “On-Ramp Program”. These classes gradually introduce a new participant to the exercises and intensity of CrossFit. Attending our On-Ramp course is required of all new CrossFit Beaufort members. This allows us to see you move and get to know you. Experienced crossfitters can opt to test out by demonstrating the “9” Foundational Movements.
The “On-Ramp” classes are intended to help ensure that you as a client have a basic understanding of CrossFit’s foundational movements and are prepared for fully scaled CrossFit workouts of the day (WODs). The “On-Ramp” course consists of 4 classes and must be completed before joining our group training sessions.
Whether you’re passing through Beaufort, on vacation, or looking to make a home at CrossFit Beaufort, we welcome experienced CrossFitters.
We have “open gym” times that are supervised and allow you to come in and do a workout you missed during the week, do a little heavy lifting, or work on a skill you want to improve on.
How we are Different:
Membership–We are a coaching/training facility. You will get coaching every time you step into our doors. If you’re wondering why you can pay as low as $19.99 a month at other gyms, please understand that this is just an access fee. That small fee gives you access to their gym. Stop in and ask them about personal training or classes and you’ll then see the value of our Coaching Membership.
Coaching in every class
Every CrossFit class is supervised by a CrossFit Certified trainer. Your instructor is here to make sure you move through each workout safely while, at the same time, helping you to push yourself to achieve your true potential.
Friendships, community, and fun are integral to a sustainable fitness program. Our cooperative and competitive class environment provides motivation and camaraderie, keeping you involved and improving.
There’s something quite motivating about your fellow athletes sweating it out alongside you. Everyone pushes each other and is just as excited for their fellow athletes’ successes as they are for their own. CrossFit classes foster friendships like you will not find in any other type of workout environment.
Conventional Fitness Club vs. CrossFit Gym”Conventional”:
Get as many people as possible to sign lengthy membership contracts and hope most never show up.CrossFit Gym: Sign a few individuals at a time, spend a lot of time and work with them. Call them when they don’t show up.
